Yorkshire Care Equipment has been a supplier of chairs from its inception in 1972. However, the chair side of the business was not fully established until the present owners took over 1995, and began to explore the seating market in a wider way.
Yorkshire Care Equipment is now a name that has become synonymous with seating, due to their specialist knowledge, their ability to tailor the chair to suit the client, and their no obligation assessments at the client’s home or in one of the company’s showrooms. The seating specialists within the business work closely with both private customers and Occupational Therapists on riser/recliner, high seat, and care chair assessments throughout the north of England on a day-to-day basis.
AJ Way has been a regular manufacturer of riser/recliner and high seat chairs for Yorkshire Care Equipment for decades. Gordon, one of the partners at Yorkshire Care Equipment, explained just how the relationship between the two companies has worked so well for so long. “If I was to sum up AJ Way in just a two words, I would say quality and consistency. The strong relationship between the two companies is also emphasised by Yorkshire Care Equipment’s recent award as AJ Way’s ‘Dealer of the Year’. This was presented on the AJ Way stand at Naidex. The criteria for this award is based not only on sales results but on the care and effort taken to satisfy the end user’s needs and desires.
