YORTRAIN GOLD returns for the fifth year in a row!

Our annual YORTRAIN GOLD conference will return to the Pavilions of Harrogate on 3 October for another year of training, networking, and speeches on all aspects of care and mobility. Specifically for healthcare professionals across the north of England, YORTRAIN GOLD is completely free of charge for all our delegates.

This is now the fifth year that we’ve been running YORTRAIN GOLD, and we believe that it’s the biggest privately-run conference in the North. The event has steadily grown from just 50 attendees in its first year, to an expected 300 delegates at this year’s event.

YORTRAIN GOLD coordinator Tristan Hulbert said:

“This will be our fifth year of hosting our YORTRAIN GOLD annual conference and training event, and it gets bigger and more popular every year! We have 350 available seats this year, and over a third of them were snapped up in just a week and a half of opening the booking system.

“Whilst the event obviously takes a lot of time and effort to organise, and we pay for all aspects of the speaker costs, catering and venue ourselves, we see it as a way of giving back to the therapists and other healthcare professionals we work alongside every day. It also gives both ourselves and the attendees great insight into the latest concepts in the marketplace, enables us to share ideas, and it’s a superb networking opportunity.

“We receive amazing feedback from the event, and judging by the speed at which the free tickets are being snapped up, I think people genuinely benefit from and are excited about the conference!”

The agenda for the day was released this week, and includes speeches from renowned moving and handling advisors and OTs, as well as a talk from Baroness Masham of Ilton who has spearheaded disability and health reform in the House of Lords. She’s also represented Great Britain at several Paralympic Games!

YORTRAIN GOLD gives northern-based healthcare professionals the opportunity to get together and take a look at the latest products and practices, without having to travel too far. So if you or someone you know is looking for a way to further their knowledge on anything to do with occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and moving and handling, then point them to our website where they can book their free place for YORTRAIN GOLD 2017.
