Home Assessments

We carry out free no-obligation home assessments to help evaluate exactly what it is our customers need. With years of specialist knowledge and expertise, our friendly assessors are familiar with everything from seating and beds, to stairlifts and bathroom adaptations. Our team are happy to help with any mobility or care needs.

Working with private individuals, care institutions, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals, the Yorkshire Care assessment team will go to almost any length to supply the best and most appropriate equipment – even if the client requires a bespoke item.

Our assessment team are all highly-trained individuals and have spent many years working in the healthcare industry. They regularly attend specialist training session to keep their knowledge up-to-date and relevant, and some have even contributed to the design of pressure systems within rise and recline care chairs. One of our assessors is a fully-fledged Physiotherapist.

The Assessment Process

Step 1

Contact us to book a no obligation appointment with one of our specialists. At this stage we’ll take the client’s name and address, and we’ll discuss their needs to give us an idea of which products to bring to the assessment.

Step 2

On the day we’ll meet up with you and bring any relevant equipment with us to try. Our assessor will take all the details and measurements required, and will go through all the options to ensure we specify the correct product to suit the client.

Step 3

Back in the office, we’ll take all the information we’ve gathered during the assessment and send you a detailed written quotation based on what we’ve discussed.

Step 4

On order, when we have received a deposit or official written order (depending upon your account terms), we will start the manufacturing process for the equipment.

Step 5

When the equipment is ready and has been quality checked, we contact you to arrange delivery and setup. Larger items are generally delivered by our assessor to ensure that the equipment is suitable and set up correctly for the client.
