Cura Air Chair

Description

The Cura Air care chair is a smart, aesthetically-pleasing customisable model with many options to enhance pressure relief and support. The independent tilt-in-space, unique extra high footrest elevation and backrest recline can all be easily operated by the carer through the simple handset.

With a built-in rechargeable battery unit, the Cura can be moved from room to room due to the cleverly positioned handles and swivel castors. There is an option of a pull-down padded footrest board, or a height and angle adjustable footboard should this be required.

Boasting fantastic comfort and pressure relief, this care chair has a patented high-risk air system in the seat, 4-way stretch material on contact surfaces, and memory foam in the armrests and wings of the chair. The standard waterfall back can be adjusted to suit the user, and should more support be required, the chair can actually be sculpted or moulded to the individual’s body.

The Cura Air care chair also features a hydraulic gas action alternative. The legrest elevation is controlled by the pull lever on the side of the chair, whilst the tilt-in-space and backrest recline are operated by means of the 2-finger push buttons on the back of the chair.

Where it is deemed necessary, a flatter backrest with a layer of memory foam spanning the entire length can be specified. Some find this more comfortable than the waterfall back, whilst others prefer the neater, modern appearance. However, the Cura does not have the same ability to be moulded or carved to the user when it is configured with the flat backrest.
