Description

Copgrove

The Copgrove electric rise and recline chair is one of our most popular models on offer. Made from sturdy beech and birch ply, this British-built frame has been rigorously tested to ensure strength, rigidity, safety and durability. The Copgrove has a maximum user weight of 25 stone (160kg) and can come in several different size configurations to accommodate a variety of needs.

The single motor tilt-in-space action of the Copgrove chair maintains the initial seated position throughout recline, which in turn eliminates friction and shear forces whilst redistributing the body weight over a wider surface to minimise stress on pressure points. This electric rise and recline model also features a very effective high ankle elevation whilst maintaining a good all-round vision and eye contact with others.

Pressure relief can be incorporated into this model by means of a visco elastic wrap or a seat cut out with a specialist air, gel, Intelli-Gel or foam cushion. There are different backs available on this chair; the waterfall back, the soft back, the firm back, and the ‘T’ back. If more lateral support is required, the bottom cushion of the waterfall back can be replaced for a specially shaped one, or users can choose a lateral back that offers sturdy side support for individuals with trunk instability.

The Copgrove is an incredibly durable chair, making it ideal for more demanding environments like hospitals, hospices and day centres. The in-built AccuPack battery system has been a well-liked addition to the Copgrove for care situations.

A High Copgrove version is also available that offers adjustable seat height, seat depth, seat width, arm height and back height. Static chairs and matching settees are available on request.

Blenheim

Similar to the Copgrove, the Blenheim electric rise and recline chair has more petite dimensions without compromising on flexibility and sizing options. It has 4 different back styles and can accommodate users up to 20½ stone (130kg) in weight. A High Blenheim version is also available, as is other matching furniture like settees and static chairs.

Combining support and comfort, this electric recliner armchair features a single motor tilt-in-space mechanism for a smooth and effortless transition between rising and reclining. The Blenheim is easy-to-use with a 2 button handset that enables the tilt-in-space movement to maintain the initial sitting position throughout recline, eliminating friction and shear forces whilst evenly spreading body weight over a wider area to reduce pressure points.

The Blenheim can be made to measure to each individual’s requirements from a strong beech and birch ply frame, and a range of options and accessories ensure that this chair can be customised to suit any needs.

Dunster

The Dunster electric rise and recline chair is crafted from quality materials and components and is available in a wide range of sizes to suit the individual. With many different accessories, 5 standard back style options (waterfall, waterfall lateral, soft, firm or ‘T’ back), and a 25 stone (160kg) user weight limit, this dual motor rise and recline chair can be custom made for optimum comfort.

Tilt-in-space dual motor actions remove a lot of the friction and shear normally experienced when readjusting sitting positions. The high footrest elevation of the Dunster is a major benefit as it increases comfort, which is especially important for users oedema.
